Morning Star Radio FM

Visions to operate a local Adventist Radio Station is dated back in 1990s and in year 2000 leaders of several churches in Dar es Salaam were gathered to place the matter into action where an effect strategic plan was laid down to establish the radio, which then was known as Tanzania Adventist World Radio (TAWR).
In 2001, a case study as in keeping with the establishment of the radio station began under the the guidance of the communication unit of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church headquarters (Tanzania Union) known as Tanzania Adventist Media Center (TAMC).
In 2002, the radio station building in Mikocheni B., Dar es Salaam was erected, the following year 2003 the structure of the premises was near completed.
In October, 2003, the Radio station stared its first test broadcasts using a broadcast equipment of 500 Watt capacity.
Following a successful test broadcast, the station was officially opened, with the inaugurating guest of honour being the president of the World Church of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Pastor Jan Paulsen.
